Melanie Matthys, MEd, CCMP ™ has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In their current position as a Technical Consultant at Shared Assessments since 2022, they bring their expertise to provide guidance and support to clients.

Prior to this, Melanie held the position of Manager Operations Organizational Development at El Paso Electric Company from 2018 to 2022. Melanie Matthys, MEd, CCMP™ has a diverse education background with a focus on education, teaching, and technology. Melanie obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from The University of Texas at El Paso in 1982. In 2005, they furthered their education at the University of Texas at Brownsville, earning a Master of Education degree with a specialization in Educational Technology. Melanie also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Park University, which they completed in 1990.

Melanie is currently pursuing a Technical and Professional Writing Graduate Certificate at The University of Texas at El Paso, a program they have been enrolled in since 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Melanie holds several certifications. Melanie obtained a Graduate Certification in Technical and Professional Writing from The University of Texas at El Paso in December 2016.
