Paul Caillau has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Paul is currently working at Shares as the Head of Backoffice & Custody, where they oversee the operational teams and ensures product quality. Prior to this, they served as the Back Office Product Manager and Product Solutions Manager at the same company, where they developed internal tools, improved communication between departments, and implemented continuous improvement processes.

Before joining Shares, Paul worked at Climate Fresk as a Facilitator for their collaborative and creative climate education workshop. Paul also had experience at Suart, where they held roles such as Lead Customer Solutions Engineer, Senior Customer Solutions Engineer, and Customer Solutions Engineer. At Suart, Paul focused on piloting large integration projects with enterprise clients and revolutionizing urban logistics.

Paul's work experience also includes being the Co-Founder of PeopleGo, a company that designs and builds collaborative solutions for the event and dating markets. Paul gained valuable entrepreneurial and product design skills during their time there. Additionally, they worked as a Solutions Engineer Intern at PubNative, and as a Chef de projet at INSA de Lyon, where they designed and implemented a simulation tool and teaching module.

Outside of their professional work, Paul served as the President of Rencontres à Petits Pas... la solidarité qui marche, a charitable organization that organized various activities for regional youngsters. Paul also participated in the humanitarian car race, 4L Trophy, which involved sponsor research and mechanical preparation of the car.

Paul Caillau earned their Baccalauréat S in Maths from the Lycée français de Bruxelles in 2011. Paul then pursued a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, graduating in 2016. During their studies at INSA Lyon, they also attended the University of Stuttgart for a year to obtain a Master's degree in Engineering in 2016. In 2017, Paul obtained an Entrepreneurship Diploma from Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III). In terms of additional certifications, they completed courses such as "The Data Scientist’s Toolbox," "R Programming," and "Getting and Cleaning Data" from Coursera in 2016 and 2017. Additionally, they obtained the Certification AMF from Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) – France in May 2023.
