Brendon Newell began their career in 2008 as a Logistics Readiness Officer with the Indiana Air National Guard, where they were responsible for the integration of logistical disciplines across various work centers. In 2009, they became a Student Technician with Unified Technology Support at Ball State University. In 2013, they moved to Interactive Intelligence as a Strategic Team Lead. In 2017, they joined Genesys as a Senior Enterprise Account Engineer, and in 2019 they joined Sharpen as a SharpenCare Engineer. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for directing various logistics processes, leading the Client Systems work center, performing client-level and enterprise-level information technology support functions, and managing computer security programs.

Brendon Newell obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems from Ball State University, College of Business between 2009 and 2013. Brendon obtained the CompTIA Sec+ certification from the Department of Defense in July 2008. In July 2016, they obtained the ITIL - Foundation certification from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers. In October 2016, they obtained the ITIL - Operational Support and Analysis certification from Global Knowledge.
