Carol Wang

Carol Wang is a highly experienced tax counsel currently serving as Senior Tax Counsel at Shartsis Friese LLP since January 2024. Previously, Carol held the position of Legislation Counsel at the Joint Committee on Taxation from September 2021 to January 2024, focusing on pass-through and foreign tax matters. As a co-founder of Rumi Spice from May 2014 to December 2022, Carol contributed significantly to the organization. From June 2016 to September 2021, Carol was a Partner in the Tax Department at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, after serving as an Associate in Tax at Dorsey & Whitney LLP from July 2014 to June 2016. Carol holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Harvard Law School and an A.B. from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
