Karen L. is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in molecular diagnostics and antibody development. Currently serving as Scientist III at Shattuck Labs since October 2020, Karen previously held roles at BioAgilytix, BD, TriPath Oncology, GlaxoSmithKline, Intervet, and Remel, with responsibilities ranging from leading the design and validation of diagnostic assays to developing monoclonal antibodies for cancer diagnostics. Karen’s work at BD included significant contributions to the FDA cleared/CE Mark certified BD MAX™ Enteric Parasite Panel and Vaginal Panel. Educationally, Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences with an emphasis in Microbiology from Kansas State University.
