John Colin Doherty

John Colin Doherty began their career in 1998 as a Computer Technician for Quality Data Products. In 2001, they became the Technology Director for Stilwell Public Schools. In 2006, they moved to New York City and started working as a Senior Systems Administrator for Cyber City Inc. After two years in this role, they began freelancing as an IT Consultant in 2008. In 2009, they became the Executive Director of Cyber City Inc. John Colin then moved to Houston in 2010 and continued freelancing as an IT Consultant. In 2012, they became a Senior Systems Administrator for Archer Solutions, Inc. and in 2013 they became Senior Manager, DevOps for Shaw Systems Associates, LLC. In this role, they evaluated cloud vendors to be Shaw Cloud Services new IAAS and PAAS provider eventually selecting Microsoft Azure. John Colin also planned and executed migration of ~20 clients and over 60 servers in 3 months with no client downtime and saved the company $500,000 a year. As Cloud Services manager, they developed Shaw Cloud Services from the ground up, from no production clients to a revenue of over $4 million.

John Colin Doherty attended the University of Oklahoma from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems.
