Jim Kanable

Jim Kanable has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as Superintendent for Shawnee Local School District since April 2016. Prior to this role, Jim Kanable was the Superintendent at Liberty-Benton Local Schools from April 2008 to April 2016 and held the position of Assistant Superintendent at Oregon City Schools from 2004 to 2009. Jim Kanable's educational background includes a Master's degree in Education Administration from Youngstown State University and two Bachelor's degrees in Education from Grove City College, specializing in Secondary Education and Teaching.
