Eduard Lasuk has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Eduard has worked as a Chief Engineer and 2nd Engineer for Shearwater GeoServices, where they were responsible for vessel reactivation, maintenance, and inspection. Eduard also served as a 2nd Engineer on the hybrid vessel Amazon Conqueror, handling equipment maintenance and operation. Prior to this, they worked as a 2nd Engineer on the RRS Ernest Shackleton for the British Antarctic Survey, managing scientific equipment deployment and cargo transportation. Eduard has also worked as a 2nd Engineer for Trinity House, Western Geco, TOS, Vroon Offshore Services, and Tallink Grupp, where they gained experience in various engineering roles.

Eduard Lasuk attended the Estonian Maritime Academy from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Marine Engineering. Eduard also holds various certifications, including Advanced Fire Fighting, Chief Engineer unlimited, Medical First Aid, DP Maintenance, Offshore medical, Medical certificate for personnel service on board, UK CEC 2nd Engineer unlimited, Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS), FOET (OPITO, NOGEPA, OLF approved), HUET (OPITO, NOGEPA, OLF approved), Endorsement of COC, High voltage, Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (PSC&RB), US B1/OSC Visa, Estonian Passport (National), Seamans Book, Security awareness 3.26, Elementary First Aid, Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting, and Personal Safety & Social Responsibility (PSSR).
