Erik Jonasson

Erik Jonasson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple fields. Erik currently works at Shelterluv as an Engineering Manager, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Shelterluv from September 2019 to January 2022. Before joining Shelterluv, Erik worked at Awesome Motive, Inc. as a Web Developer from August 2018 to September 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Fiscal Analyst at the Michigan House of Representatives from September 2011 to June 2013. Erik started their career as a Community Engagement Intern at WKAR at Michigan State University and later worked as a Research Assistant at Michigan State University from 2009 to 2011. Erik'sfirst professional experience was an internship at the Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness, where they developed marketing materials and maintained contact databases from September 2008 to February 2009.

Erik Jonasson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Michigan State University from 2006 to 2009. Erik further pursued higher education, earning a Master's in Public Policy (MPP) from the same university between 2009 and 2011. Additionally, in February 2018, Erik obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services.
