Taylor Nikirk

Taylor Nikirk has a diverse work experience ranging from insurance companies to tech sales training. Beginning in 2012, Taylor interned at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, gaining knowledge in underwriting, claims, marketing, and sales. In 2013, they worked as a Client Services Associate at Hylant, where they provided service for commercial property and casualty accounts. From 2015 to 2018, Taylor was a Commercial Lines Account Manager at Shepherd Insurance LLC, closely collaborating with clients to maximize their insurance investment. In 2018, they participated in TechPoint's Sales Bootcamp, a six-week training program that exposed them to various sales environments in the tech industry. Currently, Taylor is employed at Shepherd Insurance as the Director of Corporate Training and Analytics, responsible for developing and implementing company-wide procedures and training programs, as well as managing the accuracy of agency-wide data.

Taylor Nikirk attended Bedford North Lawrence from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained an Honors Diploma. From 2008 to 2012, they studied at Ball State University - Miller College of Business, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance with a focus on Risk Management and Insurance, Financial Planning. In August 2013, Taylor obtained a Property & Casualty License.
