Mark Field has extensive work experience in various roles within the utilities and housing sectors. Mark most recently worked as the Executive Director of Operations & Customer Service at Shepherds Bush Housing Group, where they oversaw operational delivery, customer service, repairs, and sales for thousands of homes in west London. During their time there, they achieved significant improvements in first-time fix rates for repairs, reduced complaints, and implemented a new customer resolution and case management approach. Mark also led the transition to a new operating model and implemented a new governance framework for better board oversight.
Prior to their role at Shepherds Bush Housing Group, Field served as the Director of Customer Operations at Orbit Energy and held various positions at Southern Water. These roles included Head of Billing, Collections & Service, Head of Non Household Retail, Head of Customer Experience, Head of Strategy & New Business, Supply Chain Manager, Commercial Category Manager, and Meter Reading Contract Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for a range of functions, including customer service design, digital customer propositions, retail strategy, and developing new business opportunities.
