Sarah Norman

Sarah Norman has extensive work experience in various roles related to community development, public health, and policy. Sarah is currently serving as the Chief of Community Development at Sheppard Pratt Health System. Prior to this, they worked at NeighborWorks America as the National Director of the Healthy Homes & Communities Initiative. Sarah also held positions at the US Department of Health and Human Services, where they served as the Director of the Rate Review Grants Program and as a Senior Advisor to the Director of Oversight. Before that, they worked as a Senior Policy Advisor in the US Congress under Chairwoman/Ranking Member Louise M. Slaughter. Sarah's earlier experience includes roles at the Baltimore City Health Department, where they were the Chief of the Lead, Asthma, and Healthy Housing Bureau, as well as a Senior Policy Advisor. Sarah also served as a Commissioner on the Mayor's Sustainability Commission. Sarah's career began as a Research Analyst at Economics and Technology, followed by a role as a Legislative Aide at the Massachusetts State House. Additionally, they worked as a Researcher at the World Fish Center, World Bank Institute.

Sarah Norman earned a Masters in Public Policy with a focus on Health care policy & management from Harvard Kennedy School, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, Sarah pursued their undergraduate education at Harvard University, earning a BA in History. The exact duration of their undergraduate degree is not provided.
