Sarah Norman has extensive work experience in various roles related to community development, public health, and policy. Sarah is currently serving as the Chief of Community Development at Sheppard Pratt Health System. Prior to this, they worked at NeighborWorks America as the National Director of the Healthy Homes & Communities Initiative. Sarah also held positions at the US Department of Health and Human Services, where they served as the Director of the Rate Review Grants Program and as a Senior Advisor to the Director of Oversight. Before that, they worked as a Senior Policy Advisor in the US Congress under Chairwoman/Ranking Member Louise M. Slaughter. Additionally, they worked as a Researcher at the World Fish Center, World Bank Institute.

Sarah Norman earned a Masters in Public Policy with a focus on Health care policy & management from Harvard Kennedy School, where they studied from 2003 to 2005.
