Thania Orozco

Thania Orozco, LMSW, is a Bilingual Mental Health Therapist at Sheppard Pratt, with professional experience beginning in July 2022. Previously, Thania worked as a Substance Abuse Prevention Counselor and Community/Behavioral Technician at Maryland Treatment Centers Avery from March 2021 to June 2022. Earlier experience includes an internship with the mental health team at Carole Highlands Elementary School between August 2020 and April 2021. Thania's educational background includes a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, obtained in 2022, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Neumann University, completed in 2020. Additional roles at Neumann University included serving as a Criminal Justice Tutor and Campus Ministry Retreat Coordinator, as well as an internship in Reentry Services at Montgomery County Correctional Facility in June 2019.
