Darin Bristow

Darin Bristow, MA, is an accomplished educator and industry professional with extensive experience in animation and creative direction. Currently serving as a Professor and 4th Year Mentor in the Bachelor of Animation Program at Sheridan College since September 2022, Bristow provides mentorship and support to students on their capstone final films. In addition, Bristow teaches Character Design, Story Development, and Portfolio Development & Presentation at Conestoga College, as well as Animation Design, Art Direction, Animation, and Graphic Design Fundamentals at Mohawk College. Previous roles include Supervising Producer and Executive Creative Director at Pipeline Studios, Director of Studio Operations at Corus Entertainment's Nelvana Studios, and various positions at Nelvana and Rhythm & Hues. Bristow holds a Master of Arts in Animation and Design from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, along with extensive credentials in classical and computer animation from Sheridan College.
