Thomas F. Maffei is a seasoned litigation partner at Sherin and Lodgen LLP, with a focus on lawyer defense work, bar discipline, mediation, and arbitration since July 2013. In addition to legal practice, Maffei has served as an adjunct professor of law at Suffolk University Law School, teaching professional responsibility since May 2009, and has been involved with Boston College Law School since January 1990, where instruction includes legal ethics and dispute resolution. Prior professional roles include partnering at Griesinger, Tighe & Maffei from June 2000 to July 2013 and serving as a senior partner at Choate, Hall & Stewart from January 1972 to June 2000. Maffei was also the president of the Massachusetts Bar Association during 1988-1989. Educational qualifications include a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston College.
