Jeff Meier

Jeff Meier has extensive work experience in the power industry. Jeff is currently employed at Shermco Industries as a Lead Protection & Controls Technician since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at OGE Energy Corp. from June 2014 to September 2022, holding various roles. These roles include Substation Relay Foreman from April 2021 to September 2022, Relay Technician from September 2015 to April 2021, and Engineering Technician from June 2014 to September 2015. As a Relay Technician, Jeff was responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of protection and control devices in substations spread over a large geographical region. In their role as an Engineering Technician, they designed electric distribution systems.

Jeff Meier obtained their Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Pre-Professional Engineering from Northern Oklahoma College from 2012 to 2014. Following this, they attended Bismarck State College from 2014 to 2016, where they earned their Associate of Applied Science degree in Electric Power Technology. Finally, from 2016 to 2019, Jeff Meier pursued their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Energy Management at Bismarck State College.
