David L. Porter

David L. Porter has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 2003, they worked as a Student-Athlete Academic Mentor & Tutor at Louisiana State University. From 2006 to 2007, they served as a Database Manager at the School Leadership Center of Greater New Orleans, managing the database for a Principal Coaching program.

Starting in 2007, David joined UPS and held multiple positions throughout their tenure. David L. began as a Preloader, responsible for loading package cars, and was later promoted to Preload Supervisor, overseeing the training and management of part-time employees. David L. also served as a Dispatch Supervisor, managing logistics and dispatching for 72 routes and implementing technological upgrades. David was recognized for their achievements, including reducing center team mileage and improving corporate ranking.

In 2014, David joined the ORION Map Team as a Special Assignment member, collecting and editing map network data. David L. later became an On-Road Supervisor and received the Horizon Award for Future Innovation in 2017. David L. continued to excel in this role until their departure in March 2021.

In 2021, David joined Shibusa Systems as the Manager of Operational Excellence. David L. was recruited for their expertise in designing new systems, introducing complex logistics, and automating processes. Their role involved playing a key management role in a startup focused on creating high-quality, sustainable, and economical housing.
