Shaziya Barkat

Shaziya Barkat, PharmD, CSP, currently serves as a Clinical Pharmacist at Shields Health Solutions, where responsibilities include performing medication therapy management via telemedicine across various specialty disease states. Prior to this position, Shaziya worked as a Freelance Medical Writer and gained significant experience at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as an Inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant Pharmacist and at Stony Brook Medicine as a PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident. Early career roles included positions at Advocate Condell Medical Center and Walgreens, complemented by a supervisory role in telecounseling while at Loyola University Chicago.
