Ahmed Rajab

Ahmed Rajab is the CEO and founder of SHIELDS Reinsurance Brokers, established in Dubai and London with a focus on independent reinsurance brokerage. With extensive experience in the reinsurance industry, Ahmed previously served as CEO for MENA at AON Benfield, where strategic restructuring and team rebuilding took place. As Regional Director MENA at Willis Re, Ahmed played a key role in developing the treaty portfolio, making the company a leading player in the region. Ahmed's career began as a Treaty Underwriter for SOREMA, and educational qualifications include studies at ENASS and The American University of Paris. Additionally, Ahmed is an active Board Member of the DIFC Insurance Association, dedicated to the promotion and growth of the reinsurance market in Dubai.
