Michael Franks

Michael Franks is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and technical support. Currently serving as the Special Projects and Conversion Team Lead at Shift4 Payments since February 2016, Michael leads the identification and resolution of unique project issues, developing training spreadsheets for team representatives. Prior to this, Michael worked at Merchant Link from May 2000 to July 2016, where responsibilities included managing a 24/7 network operations center and creating a widely used web-based Daily Checklist. Michael's career began in the US Navy, serving from June 1986 to June 1994 as a Cryptologic Technician Interpretive, specializing in Russian linguistics. Education includes a diploma from Jefferson High School and training at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center.
