Steven Sommers

Steven Sommers is the Chief Application Architect at Shift4. Steven has over 25 years of experience in the software development industry and has been with Shift4 since November 1994. In their current role, they are responsible for the overall design and architecture of Shift4's enterprise payment solutions.

Prior to their current role, Steven served as the Sr. Vice President of Applications Development at Shift4. In this role, they were responsible for the development of all web-based applications for Shift4's merchant customers. Steven was also responsible for championing the cause of Shift4's merchant customers and helping them to receive the lowest discount rates and fastest authorizations possible.

Steven has a passion for software development and has been instrumental in the success of Shift4 over the past 25 years. Steven is a true asset to the company and their knowledge and experience are unmatched in the industry.

Steven Sommers reports to Jared Isaacman, Chief Executive Officer. Some direct reports include Rohan Mani - SVP, Business Development, Suzanne Davis - SVP, Business Development. Steven Sommers works with Kevin Cronic - Chief System Architect, Terry Sullivan - Chief of Staff, and Dave Hoffman - Chief Product Officer.
