Jonnelle Boyd has a diverse work experience in the field of packaging engineering and management. Jonnelle is currently working as a Packaging Engineer at Shinola since December 2021. Previously, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Packaging Detroit, where they partnered with consumer packaged good brands to provide packaging development leadership and support.

Jonnelle also held the position of Head of Operations at Naturalicious from September 2019 to November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Amcor, where they served as a Marketing Product Program Manager, leading teams to execute injection molding packaging strategy and optimizing customer experience. Jonnelle also worked as an Interim Marketing Segment Manager in the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical segment at Amcor.

Before joining Amcor, Jonnelle Boyd worked at General Mills in various packaging engineering roles. Jonnelle served as a Sr. Packaging Engineer, leading packaging development and cost savings initiatives for Betty Crocker and Pillsbury products. Jonnelle also worked as a Packaging Engineer II, developing packaging strategies for LARABAR, Cascadian Farm, and Food Should Taste Good bars. In addition, they served as a Packaging Engineer I in the Snacks + Convenience Division, supporting packaging development and capacity expansion.

During their time at the Institute of Packaging Professionals, MSU Student Chapter, they held the role of Fundraising Chair. Jonnelle also gained experience as a Beverage R&D Packaging Co-Op at Kraft Foods, where they led film optimization and format harmonization projects.

Overall, Jonnelle Boyd has a strong background in packaging engineering, with expertise in various aspects of packaging development, cost savings, and innovative solutions.

Jonnelle Boyd attended Michigan State University from 2007 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging. Their field of study was Packaging Science.
