Dan Phillips has over 20 years of experience in technical support and client engagement roles. Dan currently works as a Client Engagement Manager at Shinydocs, where they help drive business results through data solutions. Prior to this, Dan worked as a Technical Support Specialist at Shinydocs. Before joining Shinydocs, they spent 9 years at OpenText, where they held roles such as Senior Product Specialist and Senior Technical Analyst. At OpenText, Dan assisted customers with onboarding, support, and system maintenance, and handled escalated incidents from high-profile customers. Dan also provided support for web-based solutions and desktop applications, maintained KPI and CSTAT scores above average, and collaborated with the development team to resolve customer issues. Earlier in their career, Dan worked as an Applications Support Specialist at PerkinElmer and a Technical Support Rep/Quality Assurance at iCONECT. Dan began their career as a Tier 2 Technical Support Rep at Hosting.com, where they provided technical support to web hosting customers, created knowledge base articles, trained new staff, and worked closely with development and engineering teams.
