Johnson Ma

Johnson Ma is the Senior Vice President of Operations at Shippo. Johnson has over fifteen years of experience in business development and operations.

Johnson started their career as a VP Strategy at Yub, Inc. Johnson then transitioned to Senior Director of Business Development at Coupons.com Incorporated. In this role, they were responsible for connecting brands, retailers, and consumers through digital coupons and media.

From 2014 to 2015, Johnson oversaw the development and growth of the Yub card linked platform, which was acquired by Coupons.com Incorporated in 2015. Johnson then served as VP Business Development at Fundbox from 2016 to 2017. In this role, they helped small businesses manage and optimize cash flow through data science and analytics.

Johnson joined Shippo in 2018 as the Senior Vice President of Operations. In this role, they are responsible for leading and executing Shippo’s operational strategy. Johnson has helped Shippo grow from a startup to a successful business with over 1,000 customers.

Johnson Ma studied economics as an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley. Johnson also completed a minor in business administration at Haas School of Business. Prior to attending UC Berkeley, they attended St. Ignatius College Preparatory.
