Shaheel Pala has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a Customer Support Advisor at Noel Leeming in 2013, where they provided phone support to customers. Shaheel then joined Nielsen in 2015 as a Data Analyst before moving to Computershare in 2016 as a Business Analyst. At Computershare, they worked on product development, requirements gathering, testing, and support documentation. In 2018, Shaheel joined Theta (NZ) as a Consultant, where they provided consulting and software development services to clients in the energy industry, focusing on data and database environments. Shaheel worked on large-scale projects and had experience with PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, Unix OS, and shell scripting. From 2021 to 2023, Shaheel worked as a Data Product Manager at Tambo, responsible for managing data products. Currently, they are a Product Owner at ShipServ, starting in 2023.

Shaheel Pala attended The University of Auckland from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Shaheel'sfield of study focused on Information Systems and Operations Management.
