Over the last 10 years, Apoorva Kumar has done extensive work in building the Operations in Africa & GCC for Jumia. He has a deep understanding of the African, Indian and GCC landscape with very strong connections inside the industry.

Apoorva Kumar lived in Nigeria, Egypt, Kenya, Dubai and India and have travelled across the world building the supply chain network and teams.

The fascinating aspects of his time at Jumia have been building the drone delivery network in Ghana, Cross border E commerce from China into Africa, Q commerce (15 Min delivery) in major cities in Africa . He also led the technology teams at Jumia to create logistics and vendor management systems, however, for him the most satisfying achievement is building the integrated 3PL Marketplace network in Africa. They have created a strong 1000+ 3PL partner network by empowering local entrepreneurs with SOPs, Technology and financing.
