Ryan Leverenz

Senior Scientist at Shiru

Ryan Leverenz has a work experience that spans several companies and roles. In 2006, they worked as a Nanotechnology Intern at ELORET Corporation. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at UC Berkeley, initially as a Graduate Student Research Assistant and Graduate Student Instructor, and later as a Research Associate II. In 2013, they joined Michigan State University as a Research Assistant III at the MSU-DOE Plant Research Laboratory. In 2017, they worked part-time as a Faculty at Merritt College while also starting their roles at Bolt Threads, where they initially served as a Senior Research Associate in Biology and Materials R&D, and later as an Associate Scientist in Mylo DSP R&D and Process Chemistry. Ryan Leverenz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics and Chemistry from the University of California, Davis, between 2001 and 2005. Ryan then pursued further education at the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from 2008 to 2011.
