Michelle Harper

Michelle Harper has a diverse background in human resources, starting their career as an Education Intern at the Topeka Zoo in 2015. Michelle then moved on to become a Human Resources Generalist at the K-State Student Union from 2016 to 2018. In 2019, they joined Swift Prepared Foods, where they held various roles including Recruitment Manager and Human Resources Manager. Michelle then transitioned to Shoals Technologies Group in 2021, initially as a Senior Human Resources Manager and currently as the Human Resources Director. In their current role, Michelle manages the strategic and operational aspects of the HR function, supports managers and senior leaders as an HR business partner, and develops materials for companywide town halls and board of director materials.

Michelle Harper obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Kansas State University, where they attended from 2013 to 2017. Michelle then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management at Kansas State University from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, Michelle obtained the certifications of Six Sigma White Belt from Crimson Corporation.com, Professional Advantage from Kansas State University, and became a Certified Nursing Assistant in July 2014.
