Emily Olsson, CCRP, currently serves as the Clinical Research Manager at Shockwave Medical, where responsibilities include leading the implementation and oversight of global clinical studies focused on coronary devices and intravascular lithotripsy technologies since June 2023. Previously, Emily founded and directed the Research for Me initiative at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, enhancing public engagement with research opportunities from July 2008 to June 2023. Additional roles at UNC involved program management, strategic enrollment initiatives, and providing services to facilitate high-quality clinical research across multiple projects. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has completed various leadership and development programs at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and the NIH National Cancer Institute.
