Karen Russell Mt

Karen Russell MT, ASCP has extensive experience in the medical field. Karen'smost recent position is as the Associate Director of Medical Education at Shockwave Medical, Inc. Karen joined the company in April 2022 and continues to serve in this role. Prior to their current position, Karen worked at Boston Scientific as a Medical Affairs Fellow in the Coronary and Structural Heart division from October 2013 to April 2022.

Before joining Boston Scientific, Karen held various roles at WebMD from October 2006 to October 2013. Karen started as an Oncology Grant Specialist and later became the Senior Director of Cardiovascular Medical Education for theHeart.org & Medscape Education.

Karen also has experience at Eisai as a Critical Care Hospital Specialist from December 2005 to October 2006, at ev3 Endovascular, Inc. as the Director of Therapy Chronic Limb Ischemia from March 2005 to December 2005, at Scios Inc as a Heart Failure Consultant from July 2001 to March 2005, and at Genentech as a Senior Clinical Hospital Specialist from January 1996 to July 2001.

Karen Russell MT, ASCP attended the University of Arkansas and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Medical Technology. Karen further pursued their education at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology.
