Erika Schautz, SHRM CP has over 20 years of work experience in various human resources roles. Erika started their career as a Professional Services Coordinator at Telelogic, where they coordinated training courses. Erika then joined Allergan, where they served as a Medical Communications Coordinator, Human Resources Coordinator, and Sr. Benefits Analyst. At Allergan, they were responsible for coordinating benefits programs, drafting benefits communications, and analyzing claim data. Following their time at Allergan, Erika worked as a Manager in Healthcare at Shiseido Americas Corporation, where they managed benefit programs and led the implementation of a high deductible plan. Erika then served as a Senior Benefits Analyst at Panasonic USA for a year, focusing on health and wellness benefits. Currently, Erika is the Talent Acquisition Manager at Shoes For Crews, where they are responsible for all aspects of recruitment and talent analytics. Erika develops sourcing strategies, manages candidate sourcing tools, and provides guidance to hiring managers.

Erika Schautz, SHRM CP, holds a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication with a minor in Business Management from Saint Elizabeth University, which they completed in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Business from Centenary University. In terms of additional certifications, Erika has completed the following courses: "Talent Sourcing" from LinkedIn in January 2022, "Interviewing a Job Candidate for Recruiters" from LinkedIn in March 2021, "Human Resources Foundations" from LinkedIn in November 2020, and "Interviewing Techniques" from LinkedIn in November 2020. Erika also obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in February 2019. Furthermore, they are currently pursuing a certification in Human Resources Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
