As a Video Editor Team Lead based in our Sydney office (Artarmon) , you will play a critical role in content creation for our customers by leading and inspiring each member of your Team. This is a full-time role, requiring you to be onsite 5 days a week.

You will be responsible for the smooth daily operation and deliverables of your editing team. You will work closely with the Head of Production and other global teams to ensure project delivery timelines are met.  Being the ‘last line of defence’ quality control of projects is paramount. Customer relationships and communication will be a key factor for client experience & role success.

Key Tasks:

  • Manage and oversee all project activities submitted within your team

  • Manage client’s submitted projects through the post-production pipeline adhering to the SLA

  • Edit video projects based on the client brief

  • Provide creative decisions to enhance the project narrative

  • Work first-hand with creative teams & clients

  • Managing digital media from our cloud platform and other sources, and manage all project data

  • Track lay, Mix & Balance music, SFX & spoken dialogue

  • Add motion graphics, visual effects and brand elements to projects

  • Select stock assets from various libraries based on the clients brief to enhance projects

  • Review and approve or reject team’s video projects to ensure the quality of all deliverables

  • Collaborate & knowledge share with all Edit Teams with regards to specific skills

  • Ensure quality control of projects.

  • Provide creative pre-production services if or when required.

Collaboration at Shootsta is paramount, and in this role  you will work closely with not only other edit teams across the world but Account Management, Sales and Customer Experience.

Role Requirements

Video production will be your passion and your craft, and to be successful in the role you will require:

  • 5 years editing experience in corporate video production
  • Proven track record of creative storytelling through video.
  • Proven experience in team performance management within a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Experience in assigning and managing video production workflows handling large volumes of content in a cloud environment.
  • A hands-on approach to leadership ensuring your team is performing to its KPIs.
  • Ability to work in an adaptive environment and respond appropriately to critical business needs.
