Alex Chen

Alex Chen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2014, Alex worked at Pitcher Partners as an Undergraduate Accountant and later as an Intermediate Accountant until 2017. From 2017 to 2020, Alex joined ESV - Business advice and accounting as an Advisor and later as a Senior Advisor. In 2020, Alex moved to CharterNet Advisers as a Senior Consultant. In 2022, Alex joined AMP Capital as a Senior Financial Accountant before transitioning to ShopBack as a Business Development Manager. Currently, Alex holds the position of National Partnerships Manager at ShopBack, starting in June 2023. Overall, Alex has gained extensive experience in finance and consulting roles throughout their career trajectory.

Alex Chen completed their education in a chronological order. From 2007 to 2012, they attended James Ruse Agricultural High School and obtained their Higher School Certificate. Afterwards, they enrolled at UNSW from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting and Real Estate Studies. Later, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In addition to their academic qualifications, Alex Chen also obtained certification as a Xero Certified Advisor from Xero in December 2019.
