Benny Chou

Benny Chou has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Benny started their career as a Software Engineer at Gigastone Corporation in 2011, where they specialized in Android App Development and Web Application Development. After working at Gigastone for three years, Benny joined Promate Solutions in 2014 as a Software Engineer before moving on to TutorABC in 2015. At TutorABC, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer until 2017. In 2017, Benny joined Drivemode as an Engineer and worked there until 2019. Currently, they are employed at ShopBack, where they initially served as a Senior Software Engineer from 2019 to 2021. Benny has since been promoted to the role of Staff Software Engineer and continues to contribute to the company's cashback reward program with over 5 million members in the Asia-Pacific region.

Benny Chou pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Chi Nan University from 2008 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the JLPT N2 certification from The Japan Foundation in January 2021.
