Jj Leong

JJ Leong has a diverse work experience in various design roles. From 2021, they worked as a Product Designer at ShopBack, where they designed end-to-end flows for the Promo Codes feature and enhanced consistency in design systems. They also collaborated with PM and engineers to improve the Shopping Cart feature. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2021, JJ worked as a Motion Graphic Designer at Shopee, managing and conceptualizing video ideas for regional marketing campaigns. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Skills Trainer at Tertiary Courses Singapore. As a Freelancer from 2018 to 2020, JJ created promotional video content and designed websites for various brands. In 2019, they worked as a Motion Graphic Specialist (contract) at Epic Dialogue, where they designed websites and executed social media campaigns. In 2016, JJ interned as a Motion Graphic Design Intern at Maker Lab and Pinwheel, where they designed social campaigns and created engaging content for Google. They also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Google, designing personalized illustrations for a marketing campaign. In 2015, JJ interned as a Graphic Design Intern at FACTORY, contributing to branding projects and website design.

JJ Leong has a Master's degree in Digital Management from Teesside University. They also hold a Diploma in Visual Communications and Branding as well as a Specialist Diploma in Integrated Digital Communications (UI/UX) from Temasek Polytechnic.

In addition to their formal education, JJ Leong has obtained several certifications. They have an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance from SkillsFuture SG, obtained in September 2022. They also hold certifications in Inbound Marketing from TaF.tc (November 2019), Advertising on Facebook: Advanced from Lynda.com (October 2019), Social Media Management from TaF.tc (October 2019), Installing and Running WordPress: WAMP from Lynda.com (June 2019), and Online Marketing Foundations from Lynda.com (June 2019).
