Anne Marie Al-Borno is the Director of Global Experiential Marketing at Shopify. Anne has over fifteen years of experience in marketing and account management.

Anne Marie started their career as a Campus Ambassador and Team Manager at LAUNCH!, where they were responsible for marketing initiatives and building relationships with college students and universities. After five years at LAUNCH!, Anne Marie transitioned to Mosaic North America, where they spent ten years in account management, eventually becoming Senior Vice President.

In January 2020, Anne Marie left Mosaic North America to join Shopify as the Director of Global Experiential Marketing. In this role, Anne Marie is responsible for executing Shopify’s global experiential marketing strategy and overseeing all event planning and execution.

Anne Marie Al-Borno holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Calgary.

They work with Everis Carruyo - Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations, Vicky Hsu - VP, International Marketing, and Anne-Marie Goulet - Head of Marketing, Shopify.
