Marylou Cormier

Marylou Cormier is a seasoned recruitment professional with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Shopify since August 2018, following a role as Technical Recruiter. Prior to Shopify, Marylou worked at McGill University from September 2014 to August 2018 as a Recruitment and Admissions Officer, where new initiatives were implemented to enhance the recruitment process and facilitate outreach to Quebec CEGEPs and high schools. Marylou also held the position of Recruitment Events and Systems Administrator, alongside experience as a Communications and Marketing Intern at Société de Transport de Laval from 2011 to 2014. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Behavioural Science and Linguistics from McGill University, a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Concordia University, and an exchange semester at The University of Auckland. Marylou began academic pursuits with a Social Science DEC in Psychology at Vanier College.
