Amit Asher

Amit Asher has extensive work experience in finance and commercial roles. Amit has recently worked as an Associate Director - Finance at DIRECT | Empowering Retailers since December 2022. Prior to this, Amit worked at Ambuja Cements Ltd for several years, holding roles such as DGM - Commercial Finance Controller - Marketing (W&S Region) and Senior Manager - Commercial Finance (Marketing & Supply Chain). Amit also served as the Senior Manager - Executive Assistant to MD & CEO, where they managed the MD's office and organized strategic meetings. Amit has earlier experience at Deloitte Haskins and Sells India, where they worked as a Manager - Audit Assurance for nine years.

Amit Asher completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B Com) degree in Accounting at Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics from 1999 to 2003. Subsequently, they pursued a degree in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, specializing in Accounting and Finance, from 2002 to 2006.
