Vimalkumar Patel

Vimalkumar Patel has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Vimalkumar is currently working at ShopSe as the Regional Head - West, where they are responsible for building the ShopSe brand for affordability in Mumbai, Gujarat, and ROM regions. Vimalkumar leads a large team of GMs, ASMs, TSMs, and associates to create a strong presence in the affordability space in the offline market.

Prior to this, Vimalkumar served as an Assistant Vice President at HDFC Bank from September 2021 to February 2022.

From March 2018 to September 2021, they worked at Kotak Mahindra Bank as the State Head - Consumer Durable Finance.

Vimalkumar also gained experience at Home Credit India, where they served as an Area Manager / City Head from January 2017 to March 2018, managing open market distribution for mobile finance.

Before that, they worked at Vodafone as an Area Manager- Retail Stores from May 2011 to January 2017, managing retail operations of Vodafone stores in different cities of Gujarat.

Vimalkumar started their career at Merino Industries Limited as an Area Sales Manager from April 2009 to April 2011.

Lastly, they had a summer internship at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Pvt. Ltd in 2008.

Vimalkumar Patel obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Advance Business Management from Sardar Patel University in Vallabh Vidyanagar. Vimalkumar completed this program from 2004 to 2007.

Later on, Vimalkumar pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from ICFAI University. Vimalkumar enrolled in this program from 2007 to 2009.
