Anita Kahenya

Anita Kahenya has worked in various roles since 2021. Anita began their career at SOKO as a Full Stack Engineer, then moved on to Afrikanest as Head of Research, Marketing and Customer Acquisition. In 2021, they also took on the role of Impact Challenge Entrepreneur at the African Impact Initiative, Full Stack Developer at Counter1-Serve, and Intern Frontend Software Engineer at myNGOVO. In 2022, they began working as a Technical Mentor at Moringa School, teaching students how to code from zero to HERO, including languages such as JavaScript, Ruby, and frameworks like React and Ruby, as well as soft skills to help develop programmers as a whole.

Anita Kahenya is currently pursuing a Bachelors in Business Information Technology from Strathmore University, with a field of study in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Anita is also enrolled in Moringa School to obtain a Software Engineer degree, expected to be completed in 2022. Anita has obtained certifications from LinkedIn, Accenture, Moringa School, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and the University of Leeds. These certifications include Google Universal Analytics Essential Training (2020), Digital Marketing, Software Engineer, Certified Solutions Architect, and Learning to Code for the Web.
