Philipp Scharlau has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Philipp started their career in 2008 as a Key Account Manager at celexon Gmbh & Co KG, where they focused on customer-oriented sales of home cinema and AV products. In 2012, they briefly worked in sales at Fastbolt Schraubengroßhandels GmbH, specializing in industrial fasteners.

From 2013 onwards, Philipp joined shopware AG, where they held multiple positions. Philipp started as a Partner Relations specialist, and then became a Product Manager, leading development teams and ensuring product roadmap alignment with market needs. Philipp subsequently became an Enterprise Relations Manager, nurturing key relationships within the upper midmarket segment and expanding market presence. As a Manager of Sales, they led the Key Account Management team, focusing on developing partnerships and improving customer relations. Currently, Philipp serves as the Head of New Business at shopware AG, leading the strategic development of the New Business Unit and supporting the team's operational activities.
