Syed Mukarram Rizvi has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Syed Mukarram is currently working at Shore (Canada) as a Business Analyst/Product Owner, where they are responsible for implementing a flagship COTS solution for the provincial Ministry of Labor and Skilled Trades Ontario portal. Syed Mukarram provides consulting and business analysis support for the project using Agile tools and techniques.

Prior to this, Syed worked at Canada Life as a Consultant (Business Systems Specialist), where they supported new product development in the Agile environment. Syed Mukarram analyzed and documented business requirements, coordinated with developers to create system specifications, and prepared tests for systems under development.

Syed also has experience working at eHealth Saskatchewan, where they held multiple roles. As a Senior Business Analyst for Medical Imaging, they provided application support for radiology systems and participated in implementations and upgrades. Syed Mukarram also served as a Senior Business Analyst and Test Lead for the Citizen Health Information Portal (CHIP) project, providing major project support for improved patient care. Additionally, Syed offered support for the eHealth leadership team on provincial IT/IM strategy and project portfolio management.

Before joining eHealth Saskatchewan, Syed worked at ISM Canada as a Senior Business Analyst and at the Town of Markham as an IMS Analyst. Syed Mukarram also briefly worked at Sigma Software as a Project Manager.

Overall, Syed has demonstrated skills in business analysis, product development, system specifications, testing, and project management throughout their career.

Syed Mukarram Rizvi completed their Masters in Information Systems and Technology from City, University of London from 1996 to 1998. In 2018, they earned a certificate in Mental and Social Health Services and Allied Professions from the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as ITIL Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in December 2018 and has pursued Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) and Scrum Master Certified (SMC).
