James Behrer

James Behrer has a diverse background in the education industry. James started their career at Dean College in 2009, where they served as a Senior Admissions Counselor and Head Coach for the men's lacrosse team. At Dean College, they managed admissions territories and was responsible for all aspects of the lacrosse program.

In 2016, James joined International University Alliance as a Senior Partnerships Manager, where they focused on creating educational opportunities for students at select US universities. James collaborated with various organizations to provide content and workshops for global student populations.

James later moved on to Shorelight, where they held multiple roles. James started as a Senior Partnerships Manager in 2016 and eventually became a Regional Manager, Associate Director, and currently serves as the Regional Director of Partner Development. At Shorelight, they played a key role in connecting international students with US colleges and universities.

Throughout their career, James has demonstrated a commitment to the education sector and has developed expertise in student recruitment, partnerships, and program management.

James Behrer earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in European Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges between 2000 and 2004. James later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern New Hampshire University, completing their studies between 2016 and 2019.
