Manuela Sousa

Manuela Sousa has a diverse work experience in the education industry. Starting in 2008, they worked in operations for Sprachcaffe. In 2010, they joined Experimento Intercâmbio Cultural as a Language Program Analyst, where they provided customer service support, reviewed applications, and built an online training program for sales agents. In 2012, they moved to STB Student Travel Bureau as a Sales Coordinator, responsible for coordinating sales, analyzing data, and supporting administrative functions. Manuela then joined Embassy English in 2015 as a Temporary Admissions Coordinator, processing enrollments and generating confirmation documents. That same year, they also joined Educatius Group as a Program Manager, overseeing higher education consulting and focusing on customer service and key markets. In 2018, they became a Partnerships Manager at both International University Alliance and Shorelight, managing strategic partnerships, presenting and selling educational opportunities, and driving business growth. In 2021, they were promoted to Regional Manager at Shorelight, where they are dedicated to driving sales strategies, managing and mentoring sales representatives, and delivering exceptional results.

Manuela Sousa attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Leisure and Tourism with a field of study in Leisure Studies and Tourism Management. In 2012, they enrolled in a Language Course at Coined - Cordoba to enhance their Spanish language skills.

In addition to their formal education, Manuela has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they completed the certifications "Managing Your Small Business," "The Science of Sales," "Analyzing Sales Competitors," and "Learning Content Marketing" from LinkedIn. Manuela also obtained the certification "Global Citizenship" from UPEACE Centre for Executive Education in September 2020.
