Wesley Verastegui

Wesley Verastegui has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position at UNESCO in the Technical Cooperation Unit since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School from 2022. From 2020 to 2022, they served as a Specialist for the processing and monitoring of statistical indicators and national surveys at the Ministerio de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social. Before that, they worked as a Statistical Analysis Specialist at the Ministerio de Educación del Perú - Minedu from 2016 to 2020. In 2015, they worked as a Technical Advisor for the iNDC Project at the Ministerio del Ambiente - Perú. Wesley's earliest documented work experience is as a Teaching Assistant at the Universidad del Pacífico (PE) from 2012 to 2016.

Wesley Verastegui pursued a Bachelor of Economics degree from Universidad del Pacífico (PE) from 2008 to 2013. Wesley then advanced their education by enrolling in Harvard University, where they are currently pursuing a Master in Public Policy degree, expected to be completed in 2024.
