Leo Seman

Leo Seman has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and medical field. Leo is currently working as the Executive Director of Clinical Development at Structure Therapeutics since 2024. Prior to this, they held various roles at Boehringer Ingelheim, including Medical Expert in Clinical Development Medical Affairs and Director, from 2007 to 2024. Leo also worked at Bayer Pharmaceuticals as the Director of Metabolics and Global Project Leader for Diabetes from 2000 to 2007. Before joining the industry, they worked as a Scientist II at USDA HNRCA from 1990 to 2000.

Leo Seman holds a BA in Chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross, which they obtained from 1975 to 1979. Leo then pursued an MD/PhD in medicine and biochemistry at Dalhousie University from 1980 to 1988. Following that, they completed a residency in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine from 1988 to 1990. Lastly, Leo Seman attended Tufts University School of Medicine from 1990 to 1992, where they completed a Fellowship in Endocrinology and Nutrition.
