Lucas D'Arcy Scott-Harston has a diverse work experience. Lucas D'Arcy started as a Ski Instructor at Camp Fortune in 2011 and worked there until 2013. From 2012 to 2014, they served as a Camp Counsellor at Camp Arowhon. In 2016, Lucas worked as a Capital Information Officer and Tour Guide at Patrimoine canadien -- Canadian Heritage. Lucas D'Arcy then joined Air Canada in 2017 as a Customer Service and Sales Agent, where they worked until 2019. In the same year, Lucas became a Research Intern at the International Association for Peace and Conflict Studies. Lucas D'Arcy later worked as a Student Representative for the Peace & Conflict Studies Programme and as a Postgraduate Coordinator at The University of Manchester from 2019 to 2020. From 2020 to 2021, they interned at Connected Development. Currently, Lucas is working at Shout Out UK as the Opportunities Development Coordinator, and as the Head of Opportunities and Social Impact since March 2022.

Lucas D'Arcy Scott-Harston has completed a Master of Arts (MA) in Peace and Conflict Studies at The University of Manchester from 2019 to 2020. Lucas D'Arcy then pursued a Distance Learning Certificate (Postgraduate) in International Affairs with a focus on Defence Studies at King's College London from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and International Development from McGill University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.

In terms of additional certifications, Lucas obtained various qualifications. In February 2023, they completed the "Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion" certification from iHasco. In March 2021, they obtained the "Maîtriser Excel par la pratique" certification from LinkedIn. Additionally, in February 2021, they completed several Excel-related certifications from LinkedIn, including "Excel 2016: La création d’une base de données," "Excel Essential Training (Office 365/Microsoft 365)," "Excel Quick Tips," and "Excel in the Real World." Lucas D'Arcy also obtained the "Outlook: Astuces rapides" certification from LinkedIn in February 2021. Other certifications include "Decision-Making in High-Stress Situations" from LinkedIn in December 2020 and "Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers" from LinkedIn in November 2020. Furthermore, they completed the "McGill Personal Finance Essentials" certification offered by McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management in March 2020.
