Anissa Tran

Anissa Tran has a diverse work experience, having held roles in the United States Air Force, Pivotal Software, Inc., Playbook, Highlight, UC Irvine, and iD Tech Camps. In 2017, they began their role as Lead Software Engineer in the United States Air Force, where they trained and mentored seven agile software development teams. Anissa also worked as a Backend Software Engineer and Airborne Communications. In 2019, they joined Pivotal Software, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they deployed the Metroid app. In 2021, they began their role as Senior Software Engineer at Playbook, and in 2022, they began their role as Software Engineer at Highlight. In 2016, they held the role of Student IT Assistant at UC Irvine, and also worked as an iD Tech Overnight Camp Instructor at iD Tech Camps.

Anissa Tran attended UC Irvine from 2012 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. During that same time period, they also attended University of California, Los Angeles for Aerospace Studies.
