Karly Pearson

Karly Pearson has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. Karly began as a Student Athlete at Duke University in 2016, where they utilized their adaptability to guide a 40+ member team. In 2018, they interned as an Accountant Intern at Michael R. Arrache CPA, Inc., where they created an efficient system of categorizing invoices in a digital computer system, increasing efficiency by 20%. In 2019, they worked as a User Experience Research Intern at Duke University, where they developed test scripts and conducted A/B testing to examine user behaviors and interactions with two prototypes of a Duke Library webpage. In 2020, they joined TikTok as a Quality Assurance Team Lead and Quality Specialist, where they were a founding member of the US Quality team. Karly served as a project manager on 5 high priority products, analyzed and delivered metrics, vendor analyst performance, and provided solutions that increased overall product efficiency. Karly also built quality onboarding process, audited and managed 15 internal analysts until tenured status (90 days). In 2022, they began working as a Senior Partnership Operations at Highlight.

Karly Pearson attended Duke University from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Karly also participated in two Duke University programs, Duke in Greece: Birth of Reason in Ancient Greece and Duke in Australia: Biogeography in an Australian Context.
