Leonardo Lujan is currently the Vice President of Professional Development at SHPE USF, where he oversees the planning of various events to aid students in obtaining internships and expanding their network. In addition, he serves as the MentorSHPE Director, managing the pairing process for over 60 underclassmen to ensure effective mentorship. As the SHPE Jr. Director, Leonardo communicates valuable information to underprivileged students and parents, works to combat socio-economic and linguistic barriers, and fosters an inclusive learning environment. In his previous role as a Painting Assistant at LOU PHILLIPS PAINTING, INC., he demonstrated leadership skills by coordinating a team of painters and improving his communication skills in Spanish. Leonardo is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of South Florida.
